The 2010 Professional Challenge Raised over 22,000 Dollars!!
We are making our mark here in Dane County! The HYP volunteer committee has recruited volunteers and hosted six HYP build days on Habitat Sites and reached out to partner with the Salvation Army and Project Home. HYP volunteers have logged well over 500 hours. In November HYP had a successful kick-off wine tasting event that generated a buzz of interest; now over 50 young professionals participated in a HYP event, attended a monthly HYP social hour, or volunteered on a HYP build day.
25 Habitat Young Professional members range in age from early 20’s to late 30’s serve on HYP committees, they are dedicated to improving the world around them by helping families through giving a hand up not a hand out.
If you consider yourself a young professional you are welcome to join, they see HYP as an opportunity for people to network for a cause, offering social opportunities for individuals as well as experiences that cater fulfilling social responsibilities in addressing the housing needs in Dane County.
